Power Point Presentation

Living the Good Life with CHD

As an adult living with CHD, I  have created a Power Point presentation for parents of pediatric CHDers entitled, Living the Good Life with CHD. This presentation contains a brief history of heart sugery, my CHD story, and CHD parenting tips as given by several adults with CHD. Adult CHD stories are also included to bring hope and courage to parents of children with CHD.  After introducing this enriching slide show at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, I have had speaking engagements and received excellent reviews at Detroit Children's Hospital, Cincinnatti Family Heart Camp, Columbus Childern's Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Palmetto Hearts in South Carolina and others.

If your hospital or parent group are hosting an event and are looking for a guest speaker, please contact me about this presentation at Kim@Kimsheartbeat.com. There is no fee for this service.

Power Point Reviews

I just wanted to tell you again what a blessing it was meeting you and Tom last Saturday.  You have really inspired my heart.  I am almost finished with your book and anticipate the next one.  God Bless You.  Thank you for everything that you do for the CHD world!!!!

I just wanted to express my thanks to you and your wonderful husband for sharing your weekend with Palmetto Hearts.  As you know, your very presence is an inspiration and comfort to CHD parents, and I feel confident that I speak for everyone in attendance when I say that your message brought hope and joy to all of our hearts.  It was such a pleasure to get to meet you in person.  Thank you again for your generosity.

I cannot tell you how amazing your presentation was.  It really was a blessing to see you again and have you speak at our conference!  We have a lot of good ideas rolling for next year!! Sara Wallace, Palmetto Hearts
